Illuminate by Ashley Tisdale ♡ Enhancing Lip Gloss Swatches

Hi guys,

I thought I'd do a quick review post about these gorggg lip glosses I bought. They are from Ashley Tisdale's Illuminate collection with BH Cosmetics.

I bought these the end of 2016 and I've been using them constantly!

I don't know about anyone else but some days I am not feeling matte lips. Some days I want super glossy lips, so I decided to expand my lip gloss collection and buy these three lip glosses. I love Ashley Tisdale and was sooo excited to try her beauty products.

I absolutely love these lip glosses!

I think I paid £7/£8 for these glosses. I think they are definitely worth the money in my opinion.

The colours are so gorgeous and the pigment is amazing! (As you can see from the swatches below!)

The swatches are just one swipe - super pigmented!

Let me know if you've tried any of Ashley Tisdale's Illuminate products! If so, which ones do you like? :)

TonyMoly ♡ Panda's Dream Brightening Eye Base | Review

Hi guys,

I went into TK Maxx to see what beauty bargains I could find, as you do, and this cute little panda caught my eye.

I had no idea what it was but after reading the packaging (the English bits, not the Korean bits lol) I knew I had to buy it and try it!

Well actually my sister bought it for me because she owed me money when we went out for dinner - but that's another story! Haha.

This product is by a brand called TonyMoly. TonyMoly is a South Korean cosmetics brand. For people in the UK, you can purchase their items from Cult Beauty or TK Maxx (if you have a good snoop around the shop!)

This cute little panda product is called Panda's Dream Brightening Eye Base and it's supposed to brighten up areas around your eyes and hide dark circles.

I tried it (I took pictures but I hadn't done my makeup and I looked awful, so sorry - no pictures lol) and used this stick on one of my eyes.

I could instantly see that the dark circle had been reduced. The dark circle hadn't completely been hidden, but you could see that one eye was darker than the other.

Maybe if I'd done my makeup and used foundation, concealer etc you might have seen more of a difference.

The formula is very creamy and super easy to blend. I just used my ring finger to blend. The product is very pigmented and can be built up easily.

It comes with a clear cap that you put over the top of the stick before putting the lid on. I'm guessing so it doesn't dry out or maybe so that the product can't be smeared in the lid.

You can barely see the swatch because I'm so pale!!! *cries pale tears*

Overall, I like this product! I'm not 100% sure I'd purchase it again, mainly because I never buy products like this (skin brightening products) Maybe I'll change my mind once I use it more - who knows!

Although, I only bought this and thought I'd try it because of the adorable little panda packaging. If the product was just plain, I wouldn't have even looked at it! I know, that's really bad lol.
Have you tried any products from TonyMoly? If so, let me know!! I'd love to know which other products of theirs are good :)

Real Techniques | MultiTech Collection*

Hi guys,

Today's blog post is all about these Real Techniques brushes! They are brushes from their MultiTech collection.

The collection includes seven brushes and one sponge. They all have the same design, they are tapered but each brush is a different size. I think it's amazing!

The tapered point is for detail and the base of the brush lets you blend. How awesome?!

These brushes are absolutely gorgeous!! As you can see, they have white handles and super soft white and black heads.

I'm a real fan of Real Techniques brushes. I think they are so affordable and amazing quality for the price! They are also easy to get your hands because they are sold in Boots and Superdrug.

Real Techniques were the first brand of brushes I'd ever gone out and bought! I still continue to buy them to this day!

Below are pictures of the brushes and sponge, and ways that they can be used!

♡ Point XXXLThis brush is the largest out of the seven brushes. By looking at it you can immediately see that it's the perfect brush for bronzing. However, it can also be used for décolletage (neck/chest area) and body contouring.

Point Makeup Sponge - I'm a massive fan of RT's sponges (I have about 4 orange ones, they are amazing lol) so I'm super excited for this one! This sponge is ideal for foundation, concealer, contouring, highlight, cream blush etc. Pretty much anything! It also comes with its own little stand - how cute!

Point XL - I think this brush is a lovely sized brush! It's perfect for applying foundation, powder, bronzer and would also be good to use when baking.

Point L - this brush is a bit smaller than the XL brush (obviously, because there isn't an X in front of it - duh Jess!) This brush is perfect for applying blusher, contouring, detailed bronzing etc.

These are the smaller ones out of the collection. They come with their own brush stand - love it!

The size of the brushes are perfect for precise application.

Point XXXS - brow filling, smudged and smokey liner, lip detailing.
Point XXS - lip blending, detailed highlight and shadow.
Point XS - concealer, crease shadow, colour correcting.
Point S - concealer, contour lines, lid shadow, highlight.

                                                                                                                              ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡

Obviously, the ways listed to use each brush are only suggestions. Makeup application knows no boundaries - you can use these brushes for whatever you'd like!

I'm absolutely loving this MultiTech collection and I know that you guys will aswell, if you haven't got any brushes from this collection already!

Have you tried Real Techniques brushes? If so, which is your fave? :)

Rimmel London | Volume Shake Mascara* Review

Hi guys,

I was very lucky and have been sent this mascara! It's a new mascara by Rimmel London. It's their Volume Shake mascara.

Now firstly I have to say that omg this is a heavy mascara!! Not heavy as in something you'd do squats with, but heavy compared to any mascara I own!

The really awesome thing about this mascara is that it has a shaker system in the bottle. So when you shake the mascara bottle, the formula inside is refreshed which means that it won't dry out and get clumpy. How incredible is that?!

I've worn this mascara to work for the past week and I really love it! It doesn't make under your eyes dark, some mascaras I've tried produce fall out through the day which makes my eyes go dark lol - not a good look!!

The wand is a good size, and the bristles are relatively soft. Some mascaras I've owned have hard bristles and I always stab my eye!! So I like to take note on what the wand bristles are like!

Have you tried this mascara? If so, let me know what you think! If you haven't tried this, what's your fave mascara?

New Sleek Goodies | Matte Liquid Lipsticks & Power Plump Lip Crayons ♡

I went into Boots and as I was walking past the Sleek makeup stand I saw that they had some new matte liquid lipstick colours. I was so happy because I have a few of their other colours and love them!

These colours are sooooooo perfect for Spring, it's unreal!

Boots had a deal that if you bought one Sleek product you got a Power Plump lip crayon for free! The amazing thing is that you get a free one for every product you buy - it's not a one product rule! So because I bought two liquid lipsticks I got two Power Plump crayons for free! Happy days!

Below are swatches of the 4 products in natural light and with flash.

Shades from top to bottom:

Power Plump Lip Crayons
- Fully Fuchsia
- Colossal Coral
Matte Liquid Lipsticks
- Apricot Blooms
- Crushed Lavender

All these shades are so pretty and girly! They are so perfect for Spring!

The Power Plump lip crayons are really good! They sting like hell!!! Ok, they don't sting like hell, but you can definitely feel them working lol.

I'm so pleased I listened to my heart and not my mind telling me to save my money, because I really love these shades! Haha.

Do you have any Sleek matte liquid lipsticks or Power Plump crayons? If so, what shades do you have? :)

Hempz | Body Wash & Lip Balm*

Hi guys,

A few weeks ago I was contacted and asked if I'd like to try a sample of a moisturizing lip balm by a company called Hempz. I had never heard of this brand but jumped at the opportunity because I absolutely love products containing hemp!

I have a hemp hand cream by The Body Shop (which my mum recommended to me!) and I love it. My mum and I are always repurchasing it when we run out; so to find out I could try a lip balm containing Hemp Seed Oil, I literally jumped at the chance lol.

The reason I ended up with a body wash aswell is because of the lovely lady that emailed me! She was going to send me the lip balm, but they had none. So she sent me the body wash instead, and when they had the lip balm in stock again she sent one to me aswell! Such a sweety!!

🌿 Ultra Moisturizing Herbal Lip Balm:

I love this lip balm! Luckily it doesn't smell like hemp - it smells very sweet, with a hint of lemon. It smells very fresh, if that makes sense lol. It also tastes nice! Not that it should be eaten but you know what I mean!

It's very thick and feels amazinggg on your lips. In my opinion I like thick lip balms - it feels like the balm is actually making my lips smooth!

🌿 Fresh Coconut & Watermelon Nourishing Herbal Body Wash:

Oh. My. God. This stuff smells incredible!! Honestly, if I found a perfume that smelt like this then I would be spraying all day everyday. I'm a huge fan of the coconut scent, so combining that with watermelon is heaven!!

This body wash lathers up so much and is so lovely to use. I'm unsure if the smell of this body wash lasts because once I come out the shower I put body cream on so I wouldn't be able to say. However, it does make the bathroom smell like a tropical paradise!

Both of these products are gluten free, 100% Vegan and THC-free. Amazing!!

Have you tried any products by Hempz?

Trying Primark Makeup | Metal Matte Liquid Lipsticks ♡ Possible Kylie Cosmetics Dupes?

Hi guys,

A few weeks ago I went into Primark just to look around while I was waiting for my sister; and everyone knows that you can't go into Primark and come out empty handed. They always have bargains!

I saw these two metal matte liquid lipsticks.

They were £2 each so I thought I'd buy them and see what they're like!

Top: Goddess
Bottom: Queen

♡ Goddess: a deep red colour. A bit brighter than Kylie's metal matte lipstcik called Reign.
Queen: a warm golden colour. A possible dupe for Kylie's metal matte lipstick called King K??

These liquid lipsticks are very very pigmented. The above swatches are just one layer!!

The only downside is if you put too much on then the product goes lumpy and every time your lips touch (which is the majority of the time lol) the product starts to move around your lips and lump up.

However, one thin layer is fine!

The product itself smells very sweet, a tad chemically but not that bad in my opinion.

If Primark introduced more colours I would love to buy more - they probably aren't as good as Kylie's metal matte liquid lipsticks but for the price you can't complain!

Have you tried these lipsticks? Do you own any Primark makeup?

Let me know! I'd love to try out more of Primark's makeup!

Keep Skin Hydrated this Winter with Sebamed* ♡

Hi guys,

Before Christmas I was lucky enough to be sent these products by Sebamed

I have been using these three products for a few weeks now, and I feel I have used them enough to write a review on them!

I was given a Cleansing Bar £3.99 (which is now unfortunately out of stock), Anti-dry Hydrating Body Lotion £7.29 (but currently reduced to £6.20) and Lip Defense Balm £2.99.

Cleansing Bar: Out of the three products this is the one I used the least because it's in a bar. Yes it sounds stupid lol but I prefer liquid products when in the shower, I've never really liked bars of product.

However it is a really good product. It's 100% soap and alkali free - for those with sensitive skin. This cleansing bar can be used for mild and thorough pore-deep skin cleansing. Also in the reviews one person has been using this since 1988... so it really is good!

♡ Lip Defense Balm: This lip balm has triple protection! It regenerates, nutures and defends. I really like this lip balm, it definitely does keep my lips hydrated. Especially through the 'matte lipstick' trend lol.

This lip balm also protects you from the rays of the sun, with an spf of 30! That's more than most sun creams!!

♡ Anti-dry Hydrating Body Lotion: This is probably my fave product of out of the three! It's probably one of the best body lotions I've tried. It's so hydrating and lightweight. It's not a thick cream and doesn't take ageees to soak in.

The website says using this will boost hydration by 26% in just 3 weeks - how amazing is that?!

Overall I've been loving these products. When I use all the body lotion I will definitely be purchasing some more!

Have you tried any products from Sebamed?

Essence Light Up Your Face Luminizer Palette | Review & Swatches ♡

Hi guys!

Today I will be reviewing this pretty palette! This is the Essence Light Up Your Face Luminizer Palette!

I got this highlight palette in my last Glossybox (you can see what else I got here, if you're interested!)

I can't believe this palette is only £3!! If you're on a budget and would like to try a new highlight palette, then this will be right up your street!

The palette has three gorgeous shades;

Nude Highlighter: golden sheer powder with a subtle glow

Rosé Highlighter: shimmering pearl powder (the shimmeriest one - that's not a word but you understand!)

Golden Beige Highlighter: beige powder, less shimmer than the other two shades in my opinion.

Top to Bottom: Nude Highlighter, Rosé Highlighter & Nude Beige Highlighter

Personally, this palette isn't shimmery enough for me (probably because I own ABH Glow Kits and they're amazing lol.

I'd say this palette is for an every day very natural, barely-there glow and for people that want a subtle glow.

Nevertheless, for £3 this palette is amazing value for money - that's for sure!

Have you tried any Essence highlighters? If so, let me know what you think of them!
