Subtle Cut Crease & Matte Pink Lips | fotd ♡

Hi guys,

Quick fotd for you! This was from yesterday btw :)

I put a mini tutorial video on Instagram for this look! Check it out if you'd like (Instagram link is on the bar on the right hand side!)

Yesterday I was supposed to be seeing my dad and then going to Brighton in the evening but I didn't end up doing any of those things so I ended up staying inside lol.

Sleek Oh So Special Eye Shadow Palette
Red Cherry Lashes #43
Seventeen High Drama Liquid Eyeliner

I wanted to do a subtle cut crease look, but it's so subtle it's barely there lol!

I really like cut creases. This was my first attempt at a cut crease. Even though my cut crease doesn't really look like a cut crease, it's still a natural looking eye look.

Products used:
Foundation - L'Oreal True Match, Rose Ivory
Concealer - L'Oreal Lumimagique, 1 Light
Eyebrows - Soap & Glory Archery 2 in 1, Brownie Points
Bronzer - Benefit's Hoola
Blush - Soap & Glory, Peach Party
Highlight - Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit, Crushed Pearl
Lip liner - Sleek Eau La La Liner, Red Sky Night 324
Lipstick - Sleek Matte Me, Petal

Let me know if you like cut creases? :) Or if you've ever tried doing a cut crease look.

What are you all up to on this lovely Sunday? :)

Glossybox | July 2016

Hi guys – it’s Glossybox time! Here’s what I got inside my July Glossybox!

Also, I think this may be one of my fave Glossyboxs I've received this year!

Hawaiian Tropic Island Berry Lip Gloss, £6.99

This is such a lovely gloss! It’s so pigmented, helps to protect your lips against the rays of the sun – and it tastes really nice lol. Not that you should just eat it… but if you accidentally lick your lips, it’ll taste nice. Omg that sounds so weird haha.

Icona Milano Emotion Allowed Mascara, £13.04

Apparently according to the description, this mascara is smudge proof – which sounds good J I used it once and I thought it was ok. Then I was with my sister and she was telling me that she ran out of mascara, so I gave her this mascara lol #BestSister. My sister has just started a blog btw! Click here to have a look! :)

Hairon De-Tangle Brush, £6.99

This brush looks so good! I haven’t used it yet but it looks exactly like my Tangle Teezer brush, these two are pretty similar. I might do a comparison post about the two.

Blank Canvas F20 Flat Brush, £11.95
This brush is soooo soft! I love the pink handle – hot pink! Such a girly brush – and I’m a sucker for anything girly! I haven’t used this yet but I just know it’ll be amazing lol.

Utan and Tone nourishing Night Crème, £12.50

When your nails match the product you're showing haha.
I’m really excited to try this!! It sounds amazing! Apparently it tans your face, and doesn’t stain the pillow! Perfect!

Let me know get a Glossybox every month, or if you'd like to know more about a certain product mentioned! :)

Revlon Super Length Mascara Review

Hi guys,

In my May Glossybox I received this Revlon Super Length Mascara. Blog post about my May Glossybox can be found here!

I thought I'd do a review on this mascara because it looked really good, and a girl can never have too many mascaras - so it may persuade you guys to try it!

The wand itself is very big, which actually works really well! I got this in the colour Blackest Black - yes it is very black, which I love! I never wear brown mascara, it's always black! This mascara does come in two other colours though, Black and Blackened Brown.

Before and after pic below!

This mascara makes your lashes very long as you can see in the picture!

I'm very lucky because my lashes are naturally quite long, but this mascara definitely does help them look even longer!

Pros;
  • Good sized wand
  • Very black!
  • One coat makes lashes instantly look longer

Cons;
  • Applying too many coats can make lashes appear thick and clumpy (personally I don't like my lashes like that, but if you do then you can layer this mascara up!)

I love the packaging of the product aswell. I love that the bottle is matte black and the lid is shiny green lol. It just looks so nice!

Let me know if you've tried this mascara, if so what do you think? Also let me know any mascaras that you'd recommend for lengthening lashes!

Benefit Cheekathon Palette ♡ Review & Swatches

Last month Alina at Beauty With Charm did a give away of a Benefit Cheekathon palette. I entered the giveaway and by some miracle I won! Yayayay. I was so happy I won lol I never win anything!

I had seen this palette everywhere and I really really wanted it but it was pretty pricey so I didn't want to buy it #BbloggerProbz!

Luckily I managed to win it (I'm still so happy I won!) so I thought I would do a quick review and some swatches for anyone interested in purchasing the palette or any of the blushes!

This palette comes with 5 blushes (I don't think Hoola counts as being a blush though lol).

This palette is £44.50 which I find pricey however all five are full size products that are £23.50 each. So buying this you are saving a lot of money! If I didn't win the giveaway I probably would have bought it anyway actually lol. I work hard for my money, gotta treat yourself now and then!

All five are so gorgeous! I had Hoola already because I use that to contour, but the one I was most excited to try was Dandelion and it is stunning! Out of the blushes, Dandelion and Coralista are the ones I tend to use the most.

  • Dandelion - baby pink and very brightening
  • Hoola - matte brown (very good for contouring!)
  • Dallas - sunset plum glow (that's how Benefit describe it! Lol)
  • Coralista - coral pink colour
  • Rockateur - rose gold shimmer

These 5 colours are absolutely beautiful. I use this palette on a daily basis and would recommend this to anyone! I think all 5 would suit any skin tone.

Let me know if you own this palette or if you own any of the 5 shades mentioned?

Thanks again Alina for hosting the giveaway! ♡

Easy Spring Floral Nail Art #2 | Step by Step Spring Nail Art

I have another floral nail art tutorial for you all!

On my previous floral nail art tutorial, which can be found here, I got a lot of positive feedback and people seemed to like it, so I thought I'd do anther one!

L-R: Barry M Dragon, Essie Bikini So Teeny, Butter London Cheeky Chops, Models Own Peach Melba and a dotting tool

Sorry that it's a bit blurry - but you get the idea of how I created the flowers :)
1. Using a dotting tool and Barry M Dragon, I did 5 dots to form the shape of a flower. I did a few of these around the edge of the nail.

2. Then using the same 5 dot technique I used Essie Bikini So Teeny to do a few more flowers around the edge.

3. Using Butter London Cheeky Chops, I did some more flowers around the edge. I overlapped a few of the flowers so there weren't so many gaps.

And... that's it! Obviously you don't have to do the flowers around the edge; you could do them all over your nails or at the base of your nail, anything you want!

This nail art doesn't have to be for Spring. It could be done in Autumn using nudes and dark purples! You can also change the colours and play around with it if you don't like the colours I've used.

I hope you liked this quick little step by step tutorial! Also, let me know if you'd like to see more :)

Spectrum Brushes | Prettiest Brushes Ever?! ♡ Review

Aren't these just the prettiest brushes ever?? They're so gorgeous and girly! They are also vegan registered and cruelty free - which makes them 10000% better! ♡

I purchased these brushes a while ago when they were on sale, and I thought I'd do a quick review on them for anyone considering getting some!

4 Piece Contour Face Set;

These brushes came in a set, 4 Piece Contour Face Set. The bristles are so so soft and are lovely brushes to use.

  • B01 - Flat Top Buffer - I've used a few times for buffing in my liquid foundation.
  • B02 - Domed Buffer - haven't used yet.
  • C03 - Tulip Powder - amazing for bronzing!
  • C04 - Angled Powder - also amazing for bronzing!

Obviously you can use these brushes any way you'd like; I just thought it may be helpful letting you know what I think they'd be good for! :)

A12 Draw Me Pretty Brush & BO4 Eye Spy Brush

These two brushes, as you can see are the A12 Draw Me Pretty Brush and the BO4 Eye Spy Brush. Just like the 4 Piece Contour Face Set, both of these brushes are super soft and are really easy to use. They are perfect for creating gorgeous eye makeup looks.

  • A12 - Fluffy Pencil - perfect for placing eye shadows/highlighters to the inner corner of your eye.
  • BO4 - Small Angled Blender - perfect for blending colours into your crease.

Overall I really love these brushes and I'm so glad I bought them! Not only are they amazing quality, but they are also so lovely to look at! (I know - I'm a girly girl and I love anything pink!!)

Let me know if you own any Spectrum Brushes? Which other brushes do you like? I'm always on the look out for new brushes!
