Makeup Revolution Pro Brush Cleanse Tool | How I Clean My Makeup Brushes

Hi guys,

So a few months ago I bought this brush cleaner by Makeup Revolution (it's now on sale btw!!)  and omg it's a life saver when cleaning your brushes!

I saw it in Superdrug and thought "wow what an amazing idea, I need this" I didn't realise lot of other people had similar brush cleaners to this. It was the first one I'd ever seen and thought it was amazing! I still think it is amazing lol.

The grooves on the brush cleaner help clean your brushes. I used to swirl my brushes around the palm of my hand, which I hated doing because it'd mean my hand looked about 80 years old where it'd wrinkled from being under water for so long!! Gross!

I need to buy proper brush cleaning shampoo/soap, because at the moment I just use shower gel lol. I used to just buy cheap shampoo from Boots and wash my brushes in that, but I found that shower gel worked a lot better.

I used to dread cleaning my brushes because it always takes so long, and I hated having a wrinkled hand at the end of it! But this little brush cleaner has seriously changed my life!! Sad, I know!

Such good value for money, only £4.99!

Let me know if you have a brush cleaner like this, if so what do you think of it?

Thanks for reading,

  6. Cool product! I actually use baby shampoo and swirl the brush on the palm of my hand (which meant dealing with a wrinkled hand after) and I find it works. But if I can get rid of the wrinkled hand, I am all for it! Thanks for introducing this wonderful product to me! I am off to find a similar one where I live. :)

  10. That's such a cool product... I have seen it around, but I've never tried any of them... I hate cleaning brushes, too, but I did find a brush cleanser that can be used in between deep cleaning, which works pretty great :) Great review xx

  13. I loathe cleaning make-up brushes (up until the point that I actually get around to doing it, and then it's refreshing...cathartic even?)-- you should try using your brush cleaner with this SOLID cleanser -- it's a little pricey but it WORKS (and it lasts awhile too).

  19. I've seen people talking about this everywhere, and I need it in my life!! I can't believe it's only £4.99 as well. I use a silicone oven glove with grooves (like the sigma one) but it's too big for me and so I end up splashing water everywhere!
