Mother's Day is just around the corner (6th March for those of you that didn't know!) so I thought I'd put together a quick little gift guide.
The things I mention below are things that I'd buy/have bought for my own mum. Obviously, not all mums are the same but maybe this might help if you're stuck for gift ideas! This may also help for gift ideas for Aunts/Nans/friends etc!
You can never go wrong with buying flowers as a gift. They are so pretty and fresh! Most (pretty much all) florists/shops sell special Mother's Day bouquets, like here.
Perfume is another good gift idea, as long as you know what perfume they actually like! Luckily for me I know what my mum likes - but if you are unsure you can play it safe and get them a perfume by their favourite celebrity. They aren't as expensive as other perfumes, so if they don't like it it's not a lot of money wasted, and they'll most probably like the fact that you know who their favourite celeb is! Some celebrity perfumes can be found here.
For the last couple of Mother's Days I've bought my mum either a bag or a purse from River Island. I know which bags my mum likes, and if she's already bought a new bag I'll get her the matching purse! My mum (and I) love River Island bags but they can be so expensive, especially if you want to feel fancy and get the matching purse! So I tend to get her either one of those. Like here, the matching bag and purse.
Jewellery is also a good gift. A girl can never have too much jewellery! You can get cute little bracelets, necklaces, rings, earrings - so much choice! Like this lovely bracelet.
If you are absolutely stuck for gift ideas then you can never go wrong with a good old gift voucher! You could get a voucher for their favourite shop, or if you are unsure of which shop you could get a voucher for shops that sell a variety of things, like Boots or Debenhams.
I hope this post helped you if you're stuck for gift ideas! Like I said, these are gifts that I'd buy/have bought for my mum for Mother's Day - so change it to suite your mum! :)
