Hempz | Body Wash & Lip Balm*

Hi guys,

A few weeks ago I was contacted and asked if I'd like to try a sample of a moisturizing lip balm by a company called Hempz. I had never heard of this brand but jumped at the opportunity because I absolutely love products containing hemp!

I have a hemp hand cream by The Body Shop (which my mum recommended to me!) and I love it. My mum and I are always repurchasing it when we run out; so to find out I could try a lip balm containing Hemp Seed Oil, I literally jumped at the chance lol.

The reason I ended up with a body wash aswell is because of the lovely lady that emailed me! She was going to send me the lip balm, but they had none. So she sent me the body wash instead, and when they had the lip balm in stock again she sent one to me aswell! Such a sweety!!

🌿 Ultra Moisturizing Herbal Lip Balm:

I love this lip balm! Luckily it doesn't smell like hemp - it smells very sweet, with a hint of lemon. It smells very fresh, if that makes sense lol. It also tastes nice! Not that it should be eaten but you know what I mean!

It's very thick and feels amazinggg on your lips. In my opinion I like thick lip balms - it feels like the balm is actually making my lips smooth!

🌿 Fresh Coconut & Watermelon Nourishing Herbal Body Wash:

Oh. My. God. This stuff smells incredible!! Honestly, if I found a perfume that smelt like this then I would be spraying all day everyday. I'm a huge fan of the coconut scent, so combining that with watermelon is heaven!!

This body wash lathers up so much and is so lovely to use. I'm unsure if the smell of this body wash lasts because once I come out the shower I put body cream on so I wouldn't be able to say. However, it does make the bathroom smell like a tropical paradise!

Both of these products are gluten free, 100% Vegan and THC-free. Amazing!!

Have you tried any products by Hempz?

Trying Primark Makeup | Metal Matte Liquid Lipsticks ♡ Possible Kylie Cosmetics Dupes?

Hi guys,

A few weeks ago I went into Primark just to look around while I was waiting for my sister; and everyone knows that you can't go into Primark and come out empty handed. They always have bargains!

I saw these two metal matte liquid lipsticks.

They were £2 each so I thought I'd buy them and see what they're like!

Top: Goddess
Bottom: Queen

♡ Goddess: a deep red colour. A bit brighter than Kylie's metal matte lipstcik called Reign.
Queen: a warm golden colour. A possible dupe for Kylie's metal matte lipstick called King K??

These liquid lipsticks are very very pigmented. The above swatches are just one layer!!

The only downside is if you put too much on then the product goes lumpy and every time your lips touch (which is the majority of the time lol) the product starts to move around your lips and lump up.

However, one thin layer is fine!

The product itself smells very sweet, a tad chemically but not that bad in my opinion.

If Primark introduced more colours I would love to buy more - they probably aren't as good as Kylie's metal matte liquid lipsticks but for the price you can't complain!

Have you tried these lipsticks? Do you own any Primark makeup?

Let me know! I'd love to try out more of Primark's makeup!

Keep Skin Hydrated this Winter with Sebamed* ♡

Hi guys,

Before Christmas I was lucky enough to be sent these products by Sebamed

I have been using these three products for a few weeks now, and I feel I have used them enough to write a review on them!

I was given a Cleansing Bar £3.99 (which is now unfortunately out of stock), Anti-dry Hydrating Body Lotion £7.29 (but currently reduced to £6.20) and Lip Defense Balm £2.99.

Cleansing Bar: Out of the three products this is the one I used the least because it's in a bar. Yes it sounds stupid lol but I prefer liquid products when in the shower, I've never really liked bars of product.

However it is a really good product. It's 100% soap and alkali free - for those with sensitive skin. This cleansing bar can be used for mild and thorough pore-deep skin cleansing. Also in the reviews one person has been using this since 1988... so it really is good!

♡ Lip Defense Balm: This lip balm has triple protection! It regenerates, nutures and defends. I really like this lip balm, it definitely does keep my lips hydrated. Especially through the 'matte lipstick' trend lol.

This lip balm also protects you from the rays of the sun, with an spf of 30! That's more than most sun creams!!

♡ Anti-dry Hydrating Body Lotion: This is probably my fave product of out of the three! It's probably one of the best body lotions I've tried. It's so hydrating and lightweight. It's not a thick cream and doesn't take ageees to soak in.

The website says using this will boost hydration by 26% in just 3 weeks - how amazing is that?!

Overall I've been loving these products. When I use all the body lotion I will definitely be purchasing some more!

Have you tried any products from Sebamed?

Essence Light Up Your Face Luminizer Palette | Review & Swatches ♡

Hi guys!

Today I will be reviewing this pretty palette! This is the Essence Light Up Your Face Luminizer Palette!

I got this highlight palette in my last Glossybox (you can see what else I got here, if you're interested!)

I can't believe this palette is only £3!! If you're on a budget and would like to try a new highlight palette, then this will be right up your street!

The palette has three gorgeous shades;

Nude Highlighter: golden sheer powder with a subtle glow

Rosé Highlighter: shimmering pearl powder (the shimmeriest one - that's not a word but you understand!)

Golden Beige Highlighter: beige powder, less shimmer than the other two shades in my opinion.

Top to Bottom: Nude Highlighter, Rosé Highlighter & Nude Beige Highlighter

Personally, this palette isn't shimmery enough for me (probably because I own ABH Glow Kits and they're amazing lol.

I'd say this palette is for an every day very natural, barely-there glow and for people that want a subtle glow.

Nevertheless, for £3 this palette is amazing value for money - that's for sure!

Have you tried any Essence highlighters? If so, let me know what you think of them!

Naturally Better You | Pacifica Enlighten Palette* ♡

Hi guys,

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas/happy holidays!

I was lucky enough to be contacted by a lovely lady at Naturally Better You and was given this gorgggg palette!

Just look at the gorgeous packaging!!

Naturally Better You is a website where you can purchase products that contain natural and organic ingredients.

The thing I love the most about the Naturally Better You website is that (as far as I can see!) allllll the makeup they sell is vegan friendly and the products aren't tested on animals. Whenever I see that brands don't test on animals it makes me 100000% more likely to buy products from them - which is why I'm not too keen on MAC products atm...

L-R: Skinnydip, Coral Sand, Golden & Urchin
Another thing that is good about the Naturally Better You website is the way in which you can search.

Most websites you can only search by category, however this website you can search by concern. For example, if you had dry skin and wanted a suitable body cream you can search for it. I think this feature is very helpful!

Urchin - purple shade with gold tones
Golden - beautiful shimmery gold colour
Coral Sand - gorgeous shimmery coral colour
Skinnydip - a matte nude shade

The palette I was given is by a brand called Pacifica. This palette is 100% vegan and cruelty-free!

I have already been eyeing up a few more products on the Naturally Better You website that I may have to purchase in the New Year!

Naturally Better You Social Media links:

Have you been on the Naturally Better You website?
Also, do you know any cruelty-free makeup brands? I'd love to know.

EOS Lip Balms ♡

Hi guys,

What's the one lip balm you reach for when your lips feel a bit dry? Vaseline? Chapstick? Anything you can get your hands on?

I've recently been using my EOS lip balm again. I keep it on my desk, along with other lip balms so it's always in reach whenever I have dry lips (girlies cant have dry lips!). One day I reached for it as all my other ones weren't on the shelf (they weren't there because I've used them and obviously been too lazy to put them back lol) and I completely forgot how much I like my EOS Lip Balm!

The one I've got is Lemon Drop. It's in this pretty pastel lemon packaging. It also tastes really nice lol!

I'd really like to try their Strawberry Sorbet lip balm or Pomegranate Raspberry one!

If you'd like to see the story behind EOS you can check it out here; flavours of eos lip balm.

Have you got any EOS lip balms? If so, which flavour do you have?

Glossybox | December 2016 | Christmas Edition ❄️

Hi guys!

I haven't done a Glossybox post in absolutely ages!! I'm pretty sure my last post was back in August... a very long time ago lol.

(Also, I'm sorry for the picture quality. I didn't get a chance to take pics of the products in natural light. The UK gets dark about 4pm, and I finish work at 5pm - sooo it was dark pics or no pics lol)

So here's what's in this month's Glossybox!

Collection Cosmetics Define & Perfect Eyebrow Powder, £4.19

I tried this the other day and I really like it. It's great for creating natural looking brows! I'll be doing a blog post on this little gem soon!

Lipcote, £3.99

This is a lipstick sealer, which means it keeps your lipstick on all day. I'm usually pretty lucky with lipstick - mine stays on allllll day because I don't lick/bite my lips throughout the day lol. I'll be interested if it keeps lipstick on whilst eating though!

MDMflow Semi-matte Lipstick in Vamp, £18

The colour of this lipstick is GORG! You can't see properly in the picture *sad face* but I'm sure you'll be seeing this soon, either on my Instagram or in one of my YouTube tutorials!

Essence Light Up Your Face Luminizer Palette, £3

Ahhhh this is so pretty!! I can't wait to use it! I didn't do any swatches because I want to do a separate blog post on this! So keep ya eyes peeled lol.

Revlon Nail Enamel in Valentine, £6.49

How festive is this colour?! It literally screams Christmas!! I will defo be wearing this on Christmas day!

❄️       ⛄️       🎄

This has been the best Glossybox of the year, by far! All the products were makeup (apart from the nail varnish, but I'm always wearing nail varnish!)

I always love trying new makeup so seeing as this box contained mainly makeup, I was thrilled!!

If you got a GB this month, which product was your fave? If you don't receive a GB, do you subscribe to any other beauty boxes? :)
