Sleek ‘Pink Lemonade’ Blush by 3 Palette | Swatches & Review

I recently bought this blush palette called Pink Lemonade by Sleek. Such a cute name - I love it! ♡
It's such a gorgeous palette and such beautiful colours that I had to share it with you all!

I used to always stick to coral/orange blushes but ever since using Dandelion by Benefit in my Benefit Cheekathon Palette (review & swatches here!) I've become obsessed with pink blushes!

This blush palette has two shimmery powder blushes and one matte velvet cream blush. I haven't used a cream blush before but I'm excited to try!

  • Pink Mint - a sheer baby pink colour with subtle silver shimmer.
  • Macaroon - a dusty pink colour. Very smooth texture when I did the swatches.
  • Icing Sugar - a coral/orange colour with gold shimmer.

Top to bottom: Icing Sugar, Macaroon and Pink Mint

As you can see, the swatches are gorgeous and so pigmented! Definitely one of my fave blush palettes.

Do you have this blush palette? What colour blush do you tend to wear? :)

Soap & Glory Hocus Focus Illuminator | Review ♡

Hi guys!

A couple of weeks ago I purchased this Soap & Glory Hocus Focus Illuminator from Boots as I'd heard a lot of positive things about it, so of course I had to try it!

This can be used alone as a highlighter or it can be blended into your foundation. I haven't used it as a highlighter yet but I've been using it for the past two/three weeks to blend into my foundation and oh. my. god. it's amazing!

It gives your skin such a gorgeous glow! At first I was a bit worried and thought it might have made my skin glow like a sparkly mermaid/enchanted unicorn (not that there's anything wrong with that look!) but it didn't. It gives a lovely glowy effect and makes skin look radiant.

It also smells delightful! It smells just like their fragrance mist Original Pink - btw if you haven't smelt this, it smells incredible! I own several bottles haha.

The Illuminator is very lightweight and easy to blend. It gives a lovely dewy-looking finish. I can imagine this to be amazing as a highlighter on cheek bones - I need to try!

I highly recommend this product to anyone who loves having radiant, glowy, dewy-looking skin. It really is amazing. I will definitely be repurchasing this once my bottle runs out.

At £11 some people may see this as being a little steep because you can get a foundation for under £11 but I can not fault this product in any way; so in my opinion it is definitely definitely worth every penny!

Let me know if you've tried this Illuminator? Do you like Soap & Glory products? I'd love to know what your fave Soap & Glory products are :)

Nude Lip Combo | Perfect for Autumn ♡

Hi guys,

I recently went to Boots and bought a few things a lot of makeup that I probably didn't need but hey ho! I will be doing a blog post on the things I bought at the Nyx stall - so keep your eyes peeled lol.

Amongst all the makeup I bought, I bought these three lip products and they're quickly becoming my every day go-to lip combo! See my face of the day post here!

Nyx Lip Liner, Nude

Maybelline Coloursens, Honey Beige

Maybelline Baby Lips Gloss, Taupe With Me

Top to bottom: Nyx Lip Liner, Nude, Maybelline ColourSens, Honey Beige & Maybelline Baby Lips Gloss, Taupe With Me

I was a bit hesitant when buying the Baby Lips Gloss only because I had some of the Baby Lips balms. The balms were ok - they weren't bad but I wouldn't buy them again, if that makes sense lol - but the Baby Lips Gloss is 100% better in my opinion. Super glossy and really pigmented!

This nude lip combo will literally go with any colour eye shadow - which is probably why it's now my go-to lip combo!

Weird mouth poses lol
Let me know if you have any of the three products mentioned? What do you think of them? :)

Also - what is your fave go-to nude lippie? Please let me know, I'm always on the lookout for more nude lipsticks haha!

Bloggers Festival 2016 | Event by SL Blogger Events

Hi guys,

On Saturday 3rd September at Conrad London St. James, there was a Bloggers Festival that took place! I went with my sister Danielle, her blog can be seen here!

This was the first Blogging Event we had been to and we were not disappointed!

The hotel was so amazing - the floors were so shiny and the staircase leading down to the event was so glam!

The first thing you see when you're down there is a massive flower wall - like Kim K had at her wedding. It was so beautiful!

My sister and I against the flower wall lol
There were so many lovely companies there that were soooo generous. I honestly have a bad shoulder because I had to take all the gifts home by train lol I'm currently rubbing ibuprofen gel on my shoulder!!

A few picks of the stalls;

It was a really lovely event and I would love to go back next year!

Did you go to the Bloggers Festival? If you did and you done a blog post about it, leave it below so I can read it! :)

Easy Cherry Blossom Floral Nail Art | Step by Step Floral Nail Art

Hi guys! I have another nail art tutorial for you!

You can see my other two tutorials here!

These cherry blossom nails are super easy to do - just 4 simple steps! They are perfect for Spring/Summer. You can change the colours - instead of using pink you could use two shades of purple. They won't be cherry blossoms, but would still look really pretty!

L - R: Accessorize Milkshake. Sally Hansen Shrimply Divine & Rio Nail Art Brush.

1. Draw a short line going from one side of your nail to the other.

2. Add short little strokes to make the branches.

3. Using your darker pink nail varnish and a dotting tool or a tooth pick, dot on some of the nail varnish on the branches.

4. Do the same again but using your lighter pink nail varnish.

Voilà! That's it!

Let me know if you did this cherry blossom nail art on your own nails!

Also, please let me know if you like these nail art tutorials? :) I'm always doing nail art on my nails so I could do more of these posts!

Irresistible Me Hair Extensions* Review ♡

Hi guys - I have a very exciting post today!

I was contacted by Irresistible Me asking if I'd like to try one of their products. Straight away I said yes!! I'd seen a few reviews on the extensions they sell and they looked amazing! Plus, hair extensions are my life. I have so many sets in all different colours lol. So when they asked what I wanted to try, I asked for a set of their Silky Touch Clip-In Hair Extensions.

I asked for (and received!) 22 inch, 200g Silky Touch extensions in the colour Silky Chocolate Brown #2. Which can be found here, Remy Hair Extensions.

I'm really impressed with how these came. You get a single clip in extension which is used for you to test the colour of the extensions against your own hair, before opening the extensions. This means you can return them if they aren't your colour. This is really good because I know that buying extensions online can be a struggle - you can't compare the colour to your own hair until you receive them. So this was really handy and I think other companies should do this!

Luckily the colour of the extensions were a perfect match against my natural hair - woohoo!

Until taking this picture I never realised how long my hair actually is lol! This time last year I had it cut just below my shoulders! :O

They are soooo silky soft to the touch! I received them 3 weeks ago and have put them to the test!! I've curled them and straightened them - they are perfectly fine! They are durable and pieces of hair haven't fallen out. The clips can't been seen and can be easily hidden in your hair.  I can not fault these extensions!

These are one of the best sets of extensions I've ever owned, and if I ever colour my hair or the time comes when I'll need to buy another set, I will definitely be purchasing them from Irresistible Me!

Thank you again Irresistible Me for letting me try out your extensions - I love them!

Do you wear extensions? Do you own any Irresistible Me extensions? Let me know!
